This beta brings the free Music Features Add-On, already built into the game. You can press songs onto Blank Discs with the Disc Press and carry your music around in a Pocket Jukebox. Frost Walker also works better now, and Guardians hit harder.

What changed in beta 26.70.21?

Music Features Add-On

• A free add-on that comes with the game. Turn on the "Music Features Add-On" resource pack in your world to use it. It does not work on Realms yet.
• Blank Disc: a disc you can craft and then put in the Disc Press.
• Disc Press: a new block that puts songs onto Blank Discs to make Track Discs. It already has Minecraft menu songs to try. If it looks empty, restart the game.
• Track Disc: play it in a Jukebox or a Pocket Jukebox.
• Pocket Jukebox: an item that holds up to 20 Track Discs or normal Music Discs. Only you can hear it. It gets the color of the bundle you craft it from, and you can dye it later.

Gameplay

• Frost Walker now makes ice in a circle around you, and only while you stand on the ground. Jumping down into water won't drop you onto hard ice anymore.
• Mining Fatigue, Haste and Conduit Power now change mining speed the same way as in Java Edition.
• Fixed the health bar not showing the right amount when a Totem of Undying saves you.
• Fixed the frozen screen effect staying on after you respawn.

Mobs

• Guardians now deal 6 damage and Elder Guardians deal 8, like in Java Edition.
• Arrows and other shots from mobs, and Evoker Fangs, now hit harder or softer depending on the difficulty.

Blocks

• Fixed Honey Blocks not holding up other blocks on all sides.
• Fixed Sculk spreading when you break a Cushion or Armor Stand close to a Sculk Catalyst.

Items

• Fixed the Spyglass and similar items staying in use after you go through a portal.
• Wind Charge now plays the right sound when you throw it.

Interface

• Arabic and Persian text now shows up right to left with joined letters, in chat, on signs and while typing.
• Xbox invites you get while playing now show up in the Social Drawer.

Stability

• Fixed worlds sometimes not saving when the game is paused in the background or closed.
• Fixed a crash that could happen after staying in the menus for a long time.
• Signing in and loading menus should be faster now.
