A vanilla styles shader that adds soft lighting, clouds, sky, water, glowing ores, and other subtle visual changes to Minecraft.
This shader changes the game's visual style while keeping the familiar vanilla look. Ore textures are updated, and blocks, sky, and particles are retextured at 16x. Ores glow and shimmer in darkness, which helps you spot them while mining.
Lighting becomes soft and natural, with subtle details throughout. The sky is bright and comes with auroras that shift over time, plus a new sky for the end dimension. Clouds are soft and react to rain. Water looks calm and relaxing, and underwater you see a bluish fog with soft caustics and streaks.
Foliage such as grass, leaves, vines, and crops have a gentle wave animation. Lanterns swing, and enchanted items get an improved glint. Rainy weather changes the atmosphere. A smooth foggy layer blends across the horizon and adds depth to the world. Entities have a soft ambient glow around them. Color correction gives the shader a distinct tone.
You can pick from eight in-game options for clouds, chunk loading animation, and fog or wave effects. The shader needs a loader to run, and specific files are available for different platforms and game versions.
