A Vibrant Visuals shader that trims fog, particles and animations to cut rendering work while keeping the game's classic look.
This pack adjusts how much rendering the game has to do rather than redrawing the world in a new style. Fog is tuned per biome across the whole biome list, shadows render as simple blocky shapes, and the air in each region gets its own colour and haze profile, so a mesa does not feel like a snowfield. It also swaps the interface, blocks and sky for 16x textures, giving everything a lighter, tidier appearance.
Two performance modes change the balance. One pushes fog far past the horizon and removes 48 heavier particle effects, while the other uses a tighter 60 block fog range and strips out a much longer list of particle types, including geyser plumes, potion trails and experience orbs. Animated textures can also be reduced to a single frame in the stronger mode, so water, lava, portals and campfires stop cycling, though fire keeps moving so you can still see it.
A set of in-game toggles and sliders sits behind a gear button, letting you switch individual effects on or off, adjust overall particle amount and cap bursts. A durability readout appears in the HUD, inventory and armour slots, hotbar items show animated durability bars and the hotbar is numbered. Note that the visual changes only appear when Vibrant Visuals is switched on in video settings.
