Adds a real offhand slot to Minecraft PE on Android: hold a shield, torch or blocks in your left hand and swap with one button. A LeviLauncher mod.

Bedrock players on Windows got an offhand mod a while ago; this one brings it to phones. Offhand is a native mod for LeviLauncher by MrPokeG, ported to Android from Frederox's PC mod. It gives your character a working left hand for any item, not only the shield, totem and few items the game allows there on its own.

Two on-screen buttons do the work. Swap moves the item in your hand to the offhand and back. Interact uses what is in the offhand: place blocks while you keep your pickaxe, hold up a shield, throw snowballs or eggs, carry a torch while you fight. The item shows in the left hand with its own animations, and the inventory gets an offhand slot.

It is a LeviLauncher mod, not an .mcaddon: it does not load in the normal Minecraft app and needs no experiments or world settings. Screenshots come from MrPokeG's video of the mod.

Features

How to install Offhand Mod (LeviLauncher)

Install LeviLauncher and start Minecraft with it once.
Download Offhand-1.0.1.levipack below. Keep it in the main Downloads folder.
Open LeviLauncher, go to Mods and tap Scan, then tap Add next to Offhand. Opening the file also hands it to LeviLauncher.
Make sure the mod is on, then launch Minecraft from LeviLauncher. The Swap and Interact buttons appear in game; move them with LeviLauncher's HUD Editor.

An Android phone or tablet that runs LeviLauncher, with Minecraft from Google Play
Works up to the newest Minecraft it was built for: after a newer update, turn it off until a new build is out
