Minecraft PE Beta 26.60.28: What’s New

This beta makes redstone connect to custom blocks and stops hoppers from dropping items when you fill or set blocks. Realms get new setup for unused subscriptions, and the HUD now shows weaker effects when stronger ones run out. A few crashes and interface glitches are also fixed.

What changed in beta 26.60.28?

Gameplay

• The HUD now shows a weaker effect when it takes over after a stronger one of the same type ends.
• When you get off a Strider, you land on the block you are looking at, one block away, if it is not Lava.

Blocks

• Hoppers and other containers no longer lose their items when you replace them with /fill or /setblock.
• Redstone now connects visually to custom blocks that have a Redstone producer component.
• Red and Brown Mushrooms now need a block in the center to support them.

Mobs

• Sheep no longer get stuck in their eating animation.

Graphics

• Character Creator items and custom skin layers like outerwear, footwear, leggings, socks, and belts are now hidden under equipped armor.
• Character Creator skins now use the right level-of-detail texture after you change profiles.

Realms

• Added a way in the Realms Tab to set up Realms for unused subscriptions.
• Removed the remaining days section from the Realms Hub Subscription Tab.

Interface

• The Show More button in Classic Skins and Marketplace Pass lists now hides after all offers are loaded.
• Profile stats no longer load forever on the achievements page from the pause menu.
• When you fail to join a server, you go back to the Servers tab instead of the main menu.
• The Realms members search bar now updates results as you type.
• Fixed a softlock when unblocking a player in the Realms invite members screen.

Stability

• Fixed a crash when loading bad resource archives.
• Fixed a crash when too many hearts are shown on the HUD.
