Hammers that mine a 3x3 block area so you can dig tunnels and clear space faster, with normal pickaxe rules.
This addon gives you hammers for all the usual tool materials, from wood all the way up to netherite. Each hammer works like a pickaxe for mining speed, what blocks it can break and how you repair it, so it fits right in with the tools you already use. Craft them at a new workbench made from a log, five planks and an iron ingot.
Hold a hammer and mine or interact on a block and you can break several blocks at once. Wood, stone and gold hammers mine 3x3x1. Iron and diamond hammers do 3x3x2 when you interact and 3x3x1 when you break normally. Netherite goes up to 3x3x2 on break and 3x3x3 on interact. Crouch while you do it to turn on the bigger area, otherwise the hammer works like a regular pickaxe on a single block.
Hammers only wear down when they actually break a block, so they last longer than you might expect. They take the same enchantments as pickaxes: Fortune, Silk Touch, Efficiency, Unbreaking, Mending and Curse of Vanishing all work. You can mine, enchant and repair them exactly like the pickaxes you already know.
You need to crouch to use any 3x3 mode, so it will not surprise you while building. The workbench and all hammer recipes follow normal crafting tiers, meaning wood and stone hammers cannot mine diamond ore and you repair each hammer with its own material, just like pickaxes.

How to install Gravel's Hammers
- Download the Gravel's Hammers file to your phone. It ends with .mcaddon.
- Tap the file. Minecraft opens and imports it for you.
- Make a new world or open an old one. Then go to its packs.
- Turn on both packs, the behavior pack and the resource pack. They must both be on.
- Start the world and play with Gravel's Hammers.
