X-Ray Plus

This pack swaps the usual textures on many blocks so that the world around you turns see through. Ore blocks like diamond, coal, gold, emerald, ancient debris and gilded blackstone become visible without digging, and the effect extends to other blocks in the environment so you can pick out hidden rooms, spawn areas and fortress like builds from a distance.

Everything it touches is drawn at 16x, which keeps the familiar pixel size of the base game while changing how those blocks read. The world is not redrawn in a new style, the same blocks simply look different, so caves, mines and buried structures that would normally be a surprise become easy to spot on sight.

It works best with a night vision effect active, since that brightens the darkened areas the see through view leaves behind. The files cover several game versions, and the pack can also be paired with a long list of mods that add their own blocks and ores.
