Verity - Bedrock Edition

This addon drops a personal helper into your world: a character you can talk to directly through chat. Chat while he stands on the ground and he responds, covering topics like math, where ores are, or any sound you name. Ask for a song when things get quiet and he will perform one.

When he sits in your inventory you can bring him back out by typing a greeting. Staying nearby matters, since distance stops him from hearing what you say. He also cannot be killed, so he stays with you through fights and accidents.

Visual work backs up the companion: creatures, held items, and particle effects have been redrawn at very high resolution, and several interface screens have been reworked to match. Getting him running involves enabling the Beta APIs experiment and completing a separate setup process for his voice, speech, and AI features, since the addon ships with real voice chat and text to speech built in.

What's inside

• Talk to him through chat while he is standing on the ground and ask about almost anything
• Type a greeting to rouse him after he has been stored in your inventory
• He stays within earshot, so wandering off ends the conversation
