Adds gentle light and water changes that make the world feel calmer and prettier while you explore, build or fight mobs.

This shader gives your world a soft makeover. The sun and moon glow in a way that fits the time of day, water gets moving waves and light patterns underneath, and shadows feel softer. Fog sits differently in each biome, so a swamp looks murky while a desert stays clear.

In play you will notice it most near water and at sunrise or sunset. You can pick from four quality settings in the game menu, from a simple basic setup to a fancier one with extra surface detail. Keep in mind its effects only appear if you turn on Vibrant Visuals in your video settings, otherwise things look mostly normal.

How to install Vanilla Reforged

First, tap the Vanilla Reforged .mcpack file you downloaded. Minecraft will open and add the pack for you.
Next, turn the pack on. Open Global Resources to use it in all worlds, or one world's Resource Packs to use it in that world only.
Then tap the gear button next to the pack. Pick one of the 4 options you like.
Now check your game's graphics settings. The shader's effects show best with the settings the pack was made for.
