True Tools

A set of purpose built tools changes how you handle everyday chores. The hammer, lumberjack axe, snow shovel and spade fork each affect a three by three patch of blocks instead of a single one, so clearing ground, felling trees and working farmland takes far fewer swings. Sneaking turns the wide effect off, letting you place or break one block at a time when precision matters.

The sickle handles crops like a hoe but clears and replants a three by three square when you use it on growing plants. Farming row after row becomes quick work, and you no longer have to replant every seed by hand. The chisel turns natural or building blocks into their brick counterparts; a changed block stays in its new form and can then be worked into crafted variants, so it is a one way step.

The paint brush lets you recolor blocks without placing them one by one. Paint is a limited resource that runs down as you use it, while the brush itself lasts, so keeping a pot topped up is all you need. Item textures are redrawn at a 16x resolution, giving the whole tool set a consistent look.

How to install True Tools

1. Download the True Tools file. It ends with .mcpack.
2. Tap the file to open it. Minecraft will import it.
3. Open Minecraft and go to Global Resources or one world's Resource Packs.
4. Turn on True Tools. Then you can play.
