True Survival

This addon rewrites survival around a full zombie outbreak. The undead appear in every biome, and taking hits leaves you with toxicity that shows on your action bar. Alongside hunger you now track hydration and energy, and all food spoils over time, so raw meat goes bad quickly while cooked meals keep longer.

The world fills with abandoned structures, from small houses to large factories, each holding custom loot blocks with food, weapons and rare supplies. You can find wild dogs and tame them with bones, and they carry a small chest for storage. Electrical junk like controllers and music players can be broken down into scrap at a deconstruction bench instead of being thrown away.

Three vehicles are assembled piece by piece, and reaching them means digging up new ores and refining gasoline. More than twenty weapons cover melee and ranged options, with slingshots firing different marbles and tools like the chainsaw, nailer and flamethrower needing fuel or nails in your inventory. Backpacks ease inventory pressure, and on death your items rest in a named gravestone that anyone can open.
