Translations
By fromgateUpdated 3 Oct 2026Mod
Adds Java Edition translations, covering over a hundred languages and locales.
This addon swaps out the default language strings on Bedrock for the wording used in Java Edition. Java ships with a large set of locales, and this pack brings that wording across so menus, item names and other text read the way Java players are used to.
More than a hundred locales are covered, ranging from widely spoken languages to smaller regional and historical ones, plus a few joke options. Many of these strings are written more carefully than what Bedrock ships with, so the text tends to read more naturally in its own language.
In play you mostly notice it in the interface: inventory labels, settings menus and chat all switch over once the language is picked. There is nothing to manage or configure beyond choosing a locale, and the change shows up anywhere text appears.
