System Dynamic Light

This addon makes light follow you instead of forcing you to place torches or lanterns everywhere. Supported items in your main hand, offhand or helmet cast light as you walk, so caves and night travel stay readable without littering the ground with blocks.

It also covers less obvious sources. Dropped light items keep glowing where they land, burning creatures and naturally glowing mobs can emit light, and some items work underwater. A configuration book sits in game if you want to tune or switch any of this off.

Two layers of control keep it manageable in shared worlds. Personal options belong to each player, so one person can hide item lore while another keeps it, and operators handle global switches like range, dropped item limits, entity lighting and which dimensions are active. Performance presets bundle the common combinations.

How to install System Dynamic Light

1. Download the System Dynamic Light file. It ends in .mcaddon.
2. Tap the file. Minecraft will open and import it.
3. Make a new world or edit an old one.
4. Turn on both packs you see: the behavior pack and the resource pack.
5. Start the world. The addon now works.

Requirements

• Works with Minecraft 26.40, 26.30, 26.20, 26.13
• Both packs active in the same world (behavior + resource)
