Adds Java-style combat to Bedrock with sword sweep attacks, rebalanced damage and knockback, saturation healing, and a config menu.
Sweep 'N Slash brings core Java combat behaviour to Bedrock. Swords get sweep attacks, shields stop knocking attackers back, and hit damage is worked out using the Java formula, so the numbers you see on screen match what Java players expect. Knockback is tuned to sit as close to Java as Bedrock allows, and saturation healing is included as an optional system.
Most of the tuning lives in a config menu. You can set the attack indicator to a crosshair, hotbar or Geyser style, and pick the colour of sweep particles, which other players will also see. Operators get extra control through a global config command, including toggles for the axe versus shield option, saturation healing and a mid-game switch for the addon itself.
Extra touches include attack animations that can be turned off in resource pack settings, enchanted hit particles for Sharpness, Smite and Bane of Arthropods, a bow hit sound during player fights, the ability to stop sweep attacks from hitting your tamed pets, and particle visibility options handled on your own client.
(Please be aware: Bedrock and Java knockback systems differ in general.)
