Raiyon's Dynamic Lightning

Holding a torch no longer just occupies a slot. With this addon, the flame casts real light around you as you carry it, offhand included, so dark caves and night walks stay visible without constantly placing blocks down. Every light source has its own brightness level, meaning a lantern and a torch do not illuminate the same radius.

Torches now come in every dye color, sixteen variants in total, and placed ones keep glowing in their own hue. Turn on Vibrant Visuals and those colors bleed into the surrounding light, so a redstone torch gives off red, and a dyed torch matches its dye. A special helmet slot lets any torch sit on your head and radiate light in all directions.

Light keeps working in water. A dedicated sea torch is the one variant you can set down beneath the surface, while lanterns and other glowing blocks still shine when you swim past with them equipped. A separate compatibility file exists for colored torches if you run that other resource pack, and skipping it can cause visual glitches. Achievements stay enabled.

How to install Raiyon's Dynamic Lightning

1. Download Raiyon's Dynamic Lightning. It is a .mcaddon file.
2. Tap the file to open it. Minecraft will import it for you.
3. Open your world. Turn on both packs. The behavior pack and the resource pack must both be on.
4. Play your world. Enjoy the lightning.

• Works with Minecraft 26.30, 26.20, 26.13, 26.12
• Both packs active in the same world (behavior + resource)
