Newb X Dragon Shader

This shader reworks how the game looks without replacing your world with a plain texture pack. Blocks, particles and the sky are all redrawn at 16x, so surfaces pick up different colours and the horizon shifts through sunrise, sunset and day lighting instead of staying flat.

The sky is the biggest change. At night you get a galaxy layer and stars, along with new End visuals and a complementary style tint on terrain that softens the usual colours. Glowing blocks and minerals pick up a glow, and lava has been reworked so it reads as a hotter, thicker liquid rather than a flat orange sheet.

Two in-game options let you pick the cost. Low strips out plant movement, light direction, cloud layers and water waves to keep things running, while High keeps every effect switched on and asks a lot more from the hardware. Since it is a RenderDragon shader rather than a retexture, a loader is required for it to run at all.

How to install Newb X Dragon Shader

1. Download the Newb X Dragon Shader file to your phone. It is a .mcpack file.
2. Tap the file to open it. Minecraft will import the pack for you.
3. Turn the pack on. Use Global Resources for all worlds, or one world's Resource Packs.
4. Tap the gear button next to the pack to pick one of its 2 options.
5. The shader shows its effects with the game's graphics settings the pack was made for.
