JEI Recipe Book Layout

This pack redraws the recipe book window to resemble the item list panel many Java players know from the Just Enough Items mod. The grid, the search field and the surrounding frame all get a new look, so browsing recipes feels like reading a catalogue instead of flipping through a vanilla book.

Two layout variants ship in the files: one places the panel on the left side of the screen, the other on the right. You pick between them in the pack settings, which means you can match the panel to wherever your inventory already sits, or move it out of the way of hotbars and chat.

There is also a separate build made for the VDX Desktop UI, a desktop style interface overlay. If you run that overlay, the dedicated file keeps the recipe panel lined up with its own windows and bars. If you do not, the standard build fits the unchanged vanilla interface.

How to install JEI Recipe Book Layout

1. Download the JEI Recipe Book Layout file. It is a .mcpack file.
2. Tap the file to open it. Minecraft will import the pack for you.
3. Turn it on in Global Resources for all worlds. Or turn it on in one world's Resource Packs.
4. Tap the gear button next to the pack. There you pick one of its 2 options.
