Gives the game's ores a soft material glow so you can spot them in dark caves without lighting anything up.
Ores in the dark are usually only visible once a torch or night vision effect is active. This pack changes the ore block textures so each one carries its own soft light, showing up against stone while you dig. The look keeps the vanilla pixel style and resolution, so the world does not suddenly feel like a different game.
The glow is created through physically based rendering materials rather than painted-on brightness. Normal maps and a packed material channel give the ore faces extra depth under the right lighting mode. That layer of detail only appears when the Vibrant Visuals option is switched on, which is required for these textures to render as intended.
Several presets are bundled inside the pack and can be swapped from the in-game settings. Some versions draw a crisp border around each ore, others skip the border and simply light the block, and a further set animates the shine so the surface shifts while you watch. The heaviest animated presets carry a higher memory tier, while the rest stay at the lowest.
The ore textures covered include coal, copper, diamond, emerald, gold, iron, lapis, redstone, quartz and ancient debris, along with separate height maps for some of them. Because the pack only touches ore blocks, the rest of the terrain, mobs and items stay exactly as they were.

How to install Glowing Ores
- Download the Glowing Ores file to your phone or tablet. It ends with .mcpack.
- Tap the file. Minecraft opens and imports the pack for you.
- Turn on Glowing Ores under Global Resources for all worlds. Or turn it on under one world's Resource Packs.
- Tap the gear button next to the pack to pick from 9 options.
