Faithful 32x

This pack redraws the game's textures at a higher resolution. The art keeps the same feel as the normal look but adds finer detail, so blocks read clearly without turning into a different style. The artists stick to a small set of colors so everything sits together nicely.

With Vibrant Visuals switched on in the video settings, you also get extra effects: water has moving caustics on its surface, shadows have a blocky shape that fits the game, and materials use PBR maps so surfaces catch light in richer ways. Without Vibrant Visuals on, you still get the sharper textures, just not those water and light extras.

Everything comes from volunteers who make textures in their spare time, and you can pick from the different files listed for older and newer game versions. There are also two options inside the game that change how text and numbers are drawn, so you can match the look you are used to.
