Enchantment Calculator for Minecraft Bedrock

Putting many enchanted books on one item gets expensive fast, and on Bedrock the anvil shows "Too Expensive!" once a single step reaches 40 levels. The order matters: every time something goes through the anvil its work penalty grows (0, 1, 3, 7, 15, 31 levels), so joining books together first and touching your sword or armor as few times as possible saves a lot. This calculator follows Bedrock rules, not Java's. It only lists enchantments your item can really take on Bedrock (no Sweeping Edge, Silk Touch works on shears), blocks pairs that can't be combined, and uses Bedrock's anvil prices, where you only pay for the levels an enchantment actually gains. It tries every way of pairing your books and gives you the cheapest plan, step by step: what goes in the left slot, what goes in the right slot, and how many levels each step costs. If nothing fits under the limit, it tells you why.

How to use

1. Choose your item and how many times it has already been on an anvil (pick "Never" for a new item).
2. Tick the enchantments you have books for and set each book's level. Or press "Pick the best set".
3. Read the plan: do the steps in order, left thing in the first anvil slot, right thing in the second.
4. Check the biggest step. Green means every step works in Survival.
5. Have two books of the same kind? Use "Join two books" to see the level you get and its cost.
