Edds' VeinCapitator

This addon brings two mining helpers into the game: one that clears an entire ore vein from a single block, and one that fells a whole tree when you chop its base. Both only trigger while you crouch, so ordinary mining stays exactly as it was. You need the matching tool in hand for each job, and custom tools are recognised by their identifier, so gear from other packs can work too.

Enchantments carry over the way you would expect. Fortune, silk touch and unbreaking all apply to the extra blocks, which means a single swing can fill your inventory with ore or logs without you losing the enchantment benefits you earned. It changes the pace of resource gathering noticeably, since a mining trip that used to take many swings can finish in one.

Settings inside the pack let you decide which of the two features you want active. You can keep only the vein clearing, only the tree felling, or run both together. Nothing here relies on experimental toggles, so the pack is built to keep working as the game updates, and all in one tools are supported as well.

Features

• Clears a whole ore vein from one block while crouching
• Fells an entire tree when the bottom log is broken
• Fortune, silk touch and unbreaking still apply to drops
• Pack settings let you enable only one of the two features
• Compatible with custom tools through their identifiers
• Built without experimental options so updates are less likely to break it
