Dynamic Light Addon + Offhand Torch

Held light items now cast actual light around you, so a torch in your hand lights the tunnel ahead instead of only decorating your hotbar. Walking through dark caves with a torch out feels closer to how Java players expect lighting to behave, and you can keep moving rather than stopping to plant torches on walls.

A wide range of glowing objects is covered, not just the basic torch. Soul torches, lanterns, glowstone, sea lanterns, end rods, redstone blocks, brewing stands and many other glowing blocks or items all produce light while carried.

There are two ways to run it. Manual mode gives you dynamic light and lets you send a torch or lantern to your other hand with a command. Auto Offhand moves the held torch across on its own, so you keep a free main hand while the light stays with you.

How to install Dynamic Light Addon + Offhand Torch

1. Download the Dynamic Light Addon + Offhand Torch file. It is a .mcaddon file.
2. Open the file. Minecraft will import it for you.
3. Make a world. Turn on the behavior pack in Behavior Packs.
4. Tap the gear button next to the pack. Pick one of the 2 options.

• Works with Minecraft 26.50, 26.40, 26.30, 26.20
