A Vibrant Visuals shader that makes the game look darker and moodier, with muted colors, custom fog, and gloomy biome lighting.

This pack reshapes how the world looks by leaning into gloom rather than brightness. Shadows sit heavier, colors drop toward muted tones, and each biome picks up its own brooding atmosphere through custom fog, sky, and color grading. Water gets animated waves and shifting light patterns beneath the surface, while a custom sun and moon lighting curve changes how daylight and nightfall read across the map.

In play the result is a slower, heavier mood. Blocky shadows carve up terrain and structures, fog creeps through distant land and hides what is ahead, and the altered light cycles make nights feel genuinely dark. The look suits players who want exploration to carry a sense of unease. Note that these effects appear only when the Vibrant Visuals option is switched on in video settings.

Download Dark Fantasy Visuals. It saves as a .mcpack file on your phone.
Tap the file. Minecraft opens and imports the pack for you.
Turn the pack on in Global Resources for all worlds, or in one world's Resource Packs.
Shaders show their effects with the game's graphics settings the pack was made for.
