Borderful Glowing Ores

This pack reworks ore block textures at 16x and adds PBR material data, including height maps and MER maps. The materials only produce visible effects when Vibrant Visuals is turned on, so the pack behaves like a normal ore retexture otherwise. Blocks covered include ancient debris and several coal ore variants.

In play, the material work is what stands out. Veins carry their own glow instead of sitting flat in the dark, which makes a scan across a cave much faster than lighting every tunnel by hand. The emission is part of the texture data, so nothing else is added: no entities, no scripts, no separate behaviour file.

Two quality tiers are selectable from the in game pack settings. The lower tier is lighter, and the higher tier is the fuller version of the same effect, so players can pick based on how their setup handles the renderer. Neither tier changes terrain, mobs or interface art, which keeps it stackable with other resource packs.

How to install Borderful Glowing Ores

1. Tap the download button to get the pack. The file ends in .mcpack and Minecraft opens it for you.
2. Minecraft shows the pack when it opens. Tap it to import.
3. Turn on Borderful Glowing Ores. Use Global Resources for all worlds, or one world's Resource Packs.
4. Tap the gear button next to the pack to pick one of its 2 options. You are ready to play.
