A performance shader that trims fog, particles and block animations to help worlds run smoother on weaker devices.

This pack changes the fog, shadows, particles, blocks and even the screens you tap through. It keeps the normal vanilla look, so nothing feels like a different game. The fog and shadows come from Vibrant Visuals, and you only see those effects if you turn Vibrant Visuals on in the video settings.

You get two choices when you put it on. Pure FPS cuts the most, so it is best for the weakest phones and tablets. PvP + FPS keeps more of the busy effects that show up in boss fights and adds a combat screen with a numbered bar and a durability counter. You can switch between them any time.

The aim is stable play during long sessions. Lots of annoying things stop moving, like water and lava, so the game has less to draw. You can also open the gear icon on the pack and turn particles down yourself, with sliders and switches for potions, arrows, cauldrons and more.

How to install Boosted FPS

Download the Boosted FPS .mcpack file to your phone.
Tap the file. Minecraft opens and imports it for you.
Turn it on under Global Resources for all worlds, or in a world's Resource Packs.
Tap the gear button next to the pack to pick one of its 2 options.
See its effects with the game's graphics settings the pack was made for.
