Blurry's Java PvP
By BlurryFACEUpdated 1 Oct 2026Mod
Brings Java style combat, shields, saturation and offhand eating into Bedrock with a config menu and sweeping swords.
Combat in Bedrock gets reworked here to follow Java rules more closely. Hits landed while sprinting push targets the way Java does, an attack indicator fills up so you know when a charged strike is ready, and swords can carry out a sweep that catches several mobs standing near your target. The idea is a fight that rewards timing over mashing, and it does change how trading blows feels once you adjust.
Several quality of life changes come with it. A shield can be raised the moment you press the input instead of crouching first, and each control scheme has its own button for it. Food now restores more and does so faster, with a small bar tracking the saturation you have left, and a second item slot can hold food that you eat straight from. Attributes from a spear can also follow you into another hotbar item if you swap quickly enough.
Smaller tweaks round out the pack. Doors behave like they do in Java, TNT minecarts blow up right away, and water clears cobwebs on its own. Two commands split the settings between world wide and client side options. Keep in mind that taking the addon out of a world removes every weapon, so try it somewhere you can afford to lose first.
