Better Trees

Forests get a full visual overhaul here. Oak, birch, jungle and other tree types are rebuilt with fuller canopies, more natural silhouettes and woody branches, so longstanding biomes read as denser and more varied while still looking like the game you know.

Two versions are offered, and they work differently. The main release swaps out the default trees and saplings during world generation, keeping achievements active, so it suits survival and hardcore runs. The smaller Instant Trees add-on leaves world generation untouched and instead hands you sapling items that place a tree the moment you tap, which is aimed at creative building.

Matching textures are included, covering blocks, items and entities at a compact resolution with physically based rendering maps for reflective surfaces and depth. Because the main add-on already bundles the instant sapling items, installing both packs together is not recommended; pick one version instead. Note that it needs an infinite world type to generate.
