Better Rain pack

This pack reworks the rain in Minecraft by updating its textures, sounds, and particle properties. The rain particles and splash effects are retextured at 64x, and their behavior is adjusted so the rain feels less heavy and annoying. It also includes retextured entities and sky, adding a more coherent visual style during storms.

You can pick from four in game options: Minimal Particles with Vanilla Sounds, Particles Off with Vanilla Sounds, Minimal Particles with Custom Sounds, or Particles Off with Custom Sounds (the default). The custom sounds replace the original rain noise with a more natural rainfall. With minimal particles, the rain is lighter and less obtrusive, which can make gameplay more pleasant.

The pack uses PBR materials with MER maps, and those extra material effects only appear when Minecraft Bedrock's Vibrant Visuals mode is turned on. It also touches up the player skin during rain, showing water patches and tiny droplets on the character. No behavior packs are needed for any of this, and the pack is compatible with others that do not alter rain.

How to install Better Rain pack

1. Tap the Better Rain pack file you downloaded. Minecraft opens and adds the pack for you.
2. Open Minecraft. Go to Global Resources to turn on the pack for all worlds. Or open one world and use its Resource Packs.
3. Turn on the pack. Then tap the gear button next to it to pick from 4 options.

Requirements

• Minecraft Bedrock / PE 1.21.100 or newer
• Includes PBR materials for Minecraft Bedrock's Vibrant Visuals mode -- the extra material effects show only with it enabled
