Bare Bones Texture Pack

This pack swaps the stock art for a brighter, flatter style that mirrors the promotional trailers, giving familiar blocks and creatures a more colourful, animated feel. Textures and models for blocks, items and entities are redrawn at 16x, so the game keeps its classic resolution while taking on a fresher appearance. The result is a world that reads clearly and feels lively without losing the recognisable shape of anything you place or meet.

Support for PBR materials is built in, with normal maps and MER channels that only activate when the Vibrant Visuals mode is switched on. Watched under that setting, surfaces pick up extra depth and lighting detail, and water gains moving caustic patterns. Without it, the pack still works as a straightforward visual overhaul. Files are provided for several recent versions, and all art for the 1.21.90 release has been completed.
