This addon adds a sanity system to watch alongside health, with light, food, and mobs affecting it, plus upgrades and events.
This pack adds a sanity bar you have to keep an eye on, just like your health. Your sanity goes down when you stand in dark places, during storms, or when bad mobs are close for too long. You can bring it back up by staying near light, sleeping, and eating good food.
Lots of little things change your sanity as you play. A flower in your bag might help a bit every few seconds. Wearing a special flower crown in your helmet spot slowly heals your sanity but wears out over time. Killing mobs, taking hits, and switching dimensions all cost you. The food you eat matters too: cooked meals help, raw or poor food hurts. Recovering health adds sanity, but when you respawn you get less back than usual.
If your sanity drops really low, strange things start to happen. Around 40, you may see and hear things that are not there, like whispers, heartbeats, or blindness. At 10, you get hit with a random bad effect such as slowness, nausea, or poison. To give yourself more room, you can craft upgrades that raise your maximum sanity by 100 each time. First iron, then gold, then diamond.
