PandaMine's 3D Skin Layer

This pack makes your character's skin layers stick out in 3D instead of staying flat. Your hat, jacket, sleeves and pants get depth, so your skin looks more like a little figure than a picture pasted on. It works for wide and slim skins, and it also handles HD skins at 64x and 128x.

There are options inside the pack. One is a performance mode that hides parts you cannot see and switches far away skin parts back to flat 2D, which helps on slower devices. Another option fixes the problem where your skin turns invisible. There is also a Java hand option and a separate subpack if you use Actions & Stuff animations.

In play, you mostly notice it when you look at other players or at your own character in third person. The 3D parts catch light and show a bit of shadow, so skins feel more solid, and movement looks more lively when the animation option is on. If you use the performance mode and your skin vanishes, just turn that option off.

How to install PandaMine's 3D Skin Layer

1. Download the PandaMine's 3D Skin Layer file to your phone. It is a .mcpack file.
2. Tap the file you downloaded. Minecraft will open and import the pack for you.
3. Open Minecraft and go to Global Resources to turn the pack on for all worlds. Or turn it on in one world's Resource Packs.
4. Tap the gear button next to the pack to pick one of its 2 options.
5. That's it. Your new skin layer is ready to use.
