How to install

  1. Download the IPA of the version you want.
  2. Install it with a sideloading app such as AltStore or Sideloadly, signed with your own Apple ID.
  3. On the iPhone or iPad, trust your developer profile in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management (on iOS 16 and later, also turn on Developer Mode in Settings → Privacy & Security), then open Minecraft.
  4. With a free Apple ID the signature lasts 7 days, so re-sign it in the same tool when it expires; a paid developer account lasts a year.
Do I need a jailbreak?

No. iOS runs any app signed with an Apple ID it trusts, and the sideloading tool signs this one with yours.

Do I lose my worlds when the 7 days run out?

No. The app only stops opening; once it is re-signed, it opens with your worlds where you left them.

Can I sign in with my Microsoft account?

No. Microsoft sign-in does not work on sideloaded installs, so Realms, Marketplace and Xbox friends are out. Single-player and local worlds work.
