- You need an Xbox Game Pass plan that includes cloud gaming, and Minecraft Dungeons has to be in the catalogue at the time — it rotates, so check the Xbox app first.
- You need a steady connection, ideally Wi-Fi or 5G. On a weak signal the picture drops in quality or stutters.
- A Bluetooth controller works too, if you prefer it to touch controls.
What is the "Minecraft Dungeons APK" going around?
In September 2026 an unofficial fan port of the original Minecraft Dungeons appeared as a public beta for Android. What is known about it:
- It is not from Mojang or Microsoft, and it is not on Google Play.
- It is big — around 2.8 GB — because it carries the real game's files.
- It runs on 64-bit phones only and was tested on a high-end phone. Mid-range phones struggle.
- It is a beta: players report crashes, missing DLC content and touch buttons that need adjusting.
- It contains the paid game. We do not host it on GetMCPE.
How to spot a fake Minecraft Dungeons APK
- The size is wrong. A file of 100–200 MB cannot be Minecraft Dungeons. The real game is several gigabytes on every platform.
- "Mod" versions with unlimited money or diamonds. That is a classic fake-APK label, copied from other games.
