Dynamic Light + Offhand Torch

This addon brings Java style moving light to your game. Hold a torch or lantern and it glows, so caves, mines, and tunnels light up around you as you walk. You do not have to stop and place torches every few steps any more.

Lots of items give off light while you carry them: torches, lanterns, glowstone, lava buckets, blaze rods, end rods, sea lanterns, and more. There is also a way to swap your light item between your main hand and your other hand.

In play it changes how exploring feels. Dark places get easier to cross because your light travels with you. It works well for mining trips and for finding your way back out of deep caves.

How to install Dynamic Light + Offhand Torch

1. Download the Dynamic Light + Offhand Torch file to your phone. It is a .mcaddon file.
2. Tap the file after it finishes downloading. Minecraft opens and imports it for you.
3. Open your world settings in Minecraft. Find the Behavior Packs section.
4. Turn on Dynamic Light + Offhand Torch in the Behavior Packs list. Then play your world.
